Funny Fishy Stories

Today I was walking past my 20 gallon tank. I ended up moving my sorority over to the larger tank so I can use the 10 gall as a QT/Nurse tank. Was not able to catch the chinese algae eater out of the 10 gallon...little buger. His name is Dart since he's so quick.

But anyways, I left my compact mirror on the table the tank is on and came back a few minutes later to Vivian darting and flaring at her reflection. At this point I don't think it's be safe to add more girls to the mix.

What have you seen your little guys/girls doing? and it does not have to be betta's.

lol all of my bettas swim up to the top of their tanks whenever i come around, just cause they want to eat. i'll turn the lights on and go over to them (cause i do first thing in the morning) and they'll swim up and be like hi! feeding time? nomnom

and once demi jumped out of the tank to grab the piece of food in my hand. it scared the crap out of me cause i'd never seen a betta actually jump and then she did and ACTUALLY GOT THE FOOD, and i was like omg o__o

When I first put Magico in my community tank, he would go after one of my high fin mickey mouse platies, and when they darted off, would go to the surface, take a breathe, then look at me as if to say, "What? That's what I was doing all along!!"

lol. In one of my old tanks I had a 10 inch pleco that would rest on my hand while I was cleaning the tank. She would also take food out of my hand.

My oscars used to do that as well before they fell in love with one another :D
