Yeah, I was thinking the same thing! Plus when I'm done reconditioning and he's all healed up, it might be getting chilly outside. I have a ten gallon with 4 tetras and a platy, but where would i put them? My dad would kiiillll me if I got another tank... so would my sister, since I share a room with her... should I fill a bucket up with water and some plants, and stick a filter in there for them? I also already have gravel in the 10G, so It would be a nuisance to scoop it all out, but I guess I can do that o.o

I used to keep my boy in the ten gallon, he never built bubblenests or anything... but in QT he goes all out! What if he doesn't like big spaces... what that interrupt the breeding?

sorry for the questions and rambling xD

My question to you is: Do you have room for 100+ fry? If you can't get another tank for spawning, then how can you keep up with all the fry?

Maybe you can bring in whatever you used outside and use that?

I have these large outdoor garbage cans that I plan to use(: I might move them to the garage, where it's nice and toasty:D I have 3+ of them, and I'm ready to cull if I have to :/

Alright, just making sure. But what about when they all get violent? You'll need to jar all of them.

Anyways, let's just start off with healing your male ;)

My females will do that they will beat the male into breeding my females do that almost all the time hopefully, like my males do, they start attacking back until the female submits.

o.o Talk about tough love :D haha, I don't think my female was going to submit, she was dominating my male o.o She didn't have a scratch on her besides the rip in her anal fin she's had since I've gotten her... It won't heal :/

I had that problem too . I took the male out and put in a fresh back up male. She spawned with him within an hour of me putting him in.

If it's any consolation, my male literally was just a body with very little of his dorsal fin left when I took him out and he is doing just fine.

Best of luck to you!!

Thanks! And by the way I love your avatar, Bettas rule! ITs so adorable(: I cross my fingers his fins grow back the same with no difficulties! At the moment he looks like he's trying to impostor a crowntail... But the strands that are left are fairly thin e.e
