Ok, so I can't figure out what's going on here. My male heart-tail "Valentino" will not make a bubble nest. My female "hera" was in the tank for 3 days in her glass bowl with him free swimming. I released her into the tank yesterday (day 4). While she was in the bowl, he did the usual, flare, swim around her bowl, go to where the nest should be (under the cup) and blow a bubble or two then go flare at her some more. He never blew more that 30 bubbles though. Hera is staying all bared up like she is ready, but he just wont make the nest. I let her out after reeading that sometimes the males wont make a nest if the female isnt out,but he didnt make one over night. They are'nt being aggressive to each other, he chases her a little and flares, but no biting.
Am I missing something here? Suggestions on what to fo please!
