I'm just so proud of my new boy, Meringue that I had to make a new thread just for him.
He's from Petsmart and was an unexpected purchase. I went in to look for ADFs and wound up with a betta. Funny how that happens.
I originally thought he had fin rot, but turns out it's likely just fin damage from captivity and ammonia.
In the yucky blue water
In hospital tank #1. Pic taken with a flash, looks like he has blue streaks in his tail :o

The morning after moving into tank #2, I found....a bubble nest! :o
Zooming around like a ping pong.
This morning he's still zooming around and appears to be colouring up. The blackish bits on his fins are taking on a distinct blue tinge.
Can anyone tell me what colour type he is? I mean, I know he's yellowish, but would that be how I'd describe him...a yellow veil tail?
