Really!? I think that is adorable! When I give my guy his blood worms, he really just inhales them xD No sound, and no chewing.

Aww!!! I can never even catch my betta making his bubble nest, really. :( I just check on him, and bam; there it is. o.o Kind of like betta magic! And I can't hear my betta chew; that would be pretty cute, though. His mouth is like a mini vacuum, and he just sucks everything in. xD Have you ever really seen their mouths? o.o Kind of creepy the way that they can extend them..

Hahahahah yeah! I bet a lot of bettas really don't chew. My old fish just inhaled everything. This one definitely chews it. I hear like 5 little crunches every time she eats a pellet. It issss frickin' adorable!!!!!!!!

Haha...I don't think there will be any sound if they eat bloodworm. Listen carefully when you feed them pellets next time. I can hear mine chomp chomp chomp and the whole head moves too! But when I feed BW, he just sucks it in in a split nanosecond! I was like....he is not chewing, where did the BW go? He also doesn't like soaked pellet (as I had read somewhere it is better for them), he just spits it out and gives me a disgusting look lol
