CurlFin

So I got this new guy as a Walmart save and he seems to have a bit of curled fin, so what is the method for helping this? Besides this and maybe some tail biting he seems really healthy. So I a pretty sure he is fine besides this ailment. So what can I do here? I just got him so he hasn't been put in a QT yet.

The fin curling is suppced to be from being in a high concentrate of ammonia, my boy Chile has this
He has been in a AQ salt bath for almost a week and it has helped a LOT

Before AQ:

After:

EDIT

His fins are stil obviously curled, but NO where near as bad as before

Yup :) not to hard to treat, just keep an eye on him, ammonia burns plus I noticed with Chile his fin tore easily

Chile is the same, a Wally-world save, I do 100% water changes daily for him, but he is in a 1 gal QT tank while he is bein treated

Yeah my guy is in a make shift QT (a 2 litter bottle cut in half and cleaned well with some glass marbles and two small fake plants lol) because all my others are full atm. I will be doing a 100% change maybe 85% because of how it is set up. I should be able to take care of him well. I saves a guy with fin rot from WW the other day and on his first full day with me he was making bubblenest. So I am sure I can keep an eye on and keep them happy.

Aw, I love it when they make bubble nest right away :)
Chile took forever to make bubble nest, but now that he does... he never stops!

Quick Q:
What kind of tortoise do you have?

Haha yeah I was so surprised and happy that they made bubblenest. I had two fish from the same LFS day within a week of getting them almost a week total @_@ so I was worried about my new CT from the same place different shipment now I know he is happy and healthy.

I have an African Spur Tortoise and a regular desert tortoise

Yep it is so great to see bubblenest, especially from new guys.

yeah tortoises are nice, but I would suggest not getting an African Spurred XD. They are great but get really big and up to 200lb, and live about 200 years XD
