Unhappy R.I.P. Henry.

My little Henry the blue crowntail betta has passed away. I just got him not too long ago but he passed on. I think it was a combination of me being misinformed and my own ignorance in his care. 08-18-2011

Thank you caitic10. I'm really new at betta fish but this was hard to take. I couldn't think straight the day afterwards especially when I went to work.

I truly understand your sadness and loss. I am new to the Bettas as well.
The first one I got I was truly ignorant and hadn't added enough De-Clorenizer to the water. I still feel the guilt.

I have Prince now and found this site.

I do hope you decide to adopt another, as they truly are wonderous.

God Bless

Thank you starlite111. Yes I did go back and get another blue crowntail. This one seems to be doing ok. I think that Henry was a little sick when I brought him home. The one I have now swims and eats much more than Henry did. Hopefully Henry II doesn't succumb to sickness or anything else before his time.
