Little rescue

So I saw this guy about a month ago when I bought Caspian (from our crappy LFS), and when I picked up Shasta he was in the same place. And then I went today and saw him, still there, I was like.. well I gotta get him. I don't know if he's gonna last very long but giving him a nice home is a lot better than letting him get thrown away, especially after rotting away in this cup for a month.

He's also my first rescue.




Anyway, I hope he pulls through, he doesn't look sick as much as he looks neglected. He isn't bloated, doesn't have any swimming problems, doesn't appear to have fin rot or ich or anything, he's skinny and worn out. I put him in a bin with some pristine water, some AQ salts, and some stress coat conditioner, and a leaf as well as Demi's preset heater. He won't eat (obviously) but he's swimming around. :D

Also I named him Soldier. Wish Soldier some luck. :)

Poor little guy. :( These poor neglected fishies break my heart. I'm so glad he has you now.
