My Goodness! Terrible Case Of Cruelty!

I just saw this article, and it made my heart break. I had no idea this was going on!
I wanted to share it and ask if any of you have ever seen anything like this!

Its not like we love the idea, its stupid and obviously a cry for attention from a designer who couldn't think of anything better than shock value. And he is also pretty dumb for saying things like they don't need oxygen..
If you read the papers here, we're hating on him too. Saying that, these things happen everywhere, betta purses, those stupid peace lily contraptions, the keychains with goldfish in them.. Jewel encrusted beetles that are brooches for crying out loud.. I know this sounds ranty but I just want to point out that its not a localised thing. Human beings are cruel everywhere to other humans and to animals. So lets not generalise.

This is the first I have ever heard about this type of thing before. I actually was just summing up what Peta had posted in their rant.
I have never seen the 'goldfish keychains or purses' so was unaware that this was happening elsewhere.
I only wish that designers would think before making a living fashion like so.

Why just living? There are so many animals slaughtered for their fur for fashion.. Minks, foxes and baby seals. :( We use leather everyday, although maybe that is actually a good use of the parts of an animal that we kill for food anyway. That necklace is disgusting and here's the best part, this wasn't the first time that designer's done this. :/ Also, the stupid thing costs around 30,000$ -__-.. Sigh..
And PeTA doesn't do squat.. They write a letter, publicise it and get the media riled up, then forget it ever happened. All they are good for is getting famous people to walk around naked. X(
You should Google the things I mentioned, you'll learn a lot about what happens and has been happening for a long time in the world. Heck, even in the 60's people had goldfish in their platform shoes.
