Anyone else notice Walmart has had PRETTY bettas lately? Delimma

I saw a pretty Blue and Orange spade tail at walmart a few weeks ago! I wanted him! I also saw a solid orange VT that I really liked.

lol, so when I got to Walmart today, the pretty CT was gone, the purple one was dead, the pink one was gone, and half of the bettas were dead, the white one was still there...


So I got him... lol

They seem to have ones that are way prettier then petco.

The last 2 i got from there were white and black females and brown male. I never seen a true brown one before...

I've been staying away from pet stores lately so I don't buy another fish before I have money for a third tank. I know i have no control around pretty bettas. XD

I could try and talk my mom into it but she won't go to goodwill not sure how much luck ill have with walmart

As luck/fate had it today, I was in a smallish Wal-mart in Quebec. There were bettas there, unlike in Ontario . . . I really had to take a look. There were some pretty normal looking fish there, but one of the CTs was absolutely STUNNING. I had to get him out of there. He's a healthy boy too, very active and flare-y.

He's a turquoise grizzle butterfly O__O

And yes, pics will be posted very soon!!! He's travelled for nearly four hours home, but he's settling down nicely.
