Betta fin type?

I bought my betta,Lemon, as a velltail. But his Caudal fin seems more rounded off instead of a veil like my other betta. Here is a pic.

Some VTs have more rounded tails, and some have more pointed tails. Hes just a regular VT (: And quite a cute guy; I love his color.

Very young VT look like RT. Then when older their caudals grow and become oval (like your guy). Eventually the fins (I think) get too heavy and begin to curve downwards and become the VT we know.

Some VT have more rounded caudal ends than others. But all VT's caudal should eventually curve down...... unless he is a mix

I have no idea. I bought him from wallmart. I wouldn't doubt that he's mixed though
