Little blind walmart rescue

So i have seen this guy at my local walmart for MONTHS and he just kept getting skinnier... Had finrot for a while, was in filthy water for a while.... And damnit i just couldnt leave him there any more! Poor thing has Cataracts in both eyes and is so thin... but very active, when i tapped his cup he whipper around and flared at the sound all dramatic like, he is deffinately a fighter. :3





So, tell me what you guys think? Wont he be so beautiful once he fills out? I think he looks like someone colored him in with lipstick. X3

I am just happy that he didnt die there! I was so frightened that i would walk in one day and see him dead... I couldnt walk out of there without him any more.

I wish they would just Ban wal-mart from selling Betta Fish. By far out of all the chain stores that sell fish they are the worst. (from what I've seen)

Awwww.. He's so cute. XD I think he's adorable. i would name him Benten, after Benzaiten (Benten-sama), the goddess of knowledge, art and beauty, especially music. the link of which made me think about it is below.

I had a little white male vt once that I saved from the Walmart by me a few years back. I didn't originally intend to get him. I went shopping there one day with my mom and saw him in his nasty cup. He was the only one left alive. Due to the conditions I complained. I then came back once a week to find him in the same nasty water. Each time I saw him like that I complained to a manager. After a month of them not lifting a finger, I bought him because I couldn't stand to see him there anymore like that and they refused to give me a discount. After i paid for him I told the manager and clerk to take the five dollars I spent on him and shove it down their throats. Thankfully, shortly after that happened they stopped selling live fish all together.

I named the little guy Yami and he lived he lived a happy little life afterwards. Still, to this day, that little guy lived longer than any of the other Betas I've had. He reached about 3 1/2 -4 years before he passed.

Anyways, I can't wait to see your little guy once he brightens up. he may not be able to see what an awesome person you are for saving him, but he'll definitely know it. ^_^

Nah, lipstick is too girly a name. XD Benten is doing great, perked up very well over night... Now i am just struggling with my Twitch baby... :( I have my fingers crossed that this will work...
