Welcome to the world of being in love with Bettas. I was planning on buying on a 10 gallon (or 2) in the next 48 hours, and putting dividers in them, so I can have a few boys, and a beautiful girl. not sure what I'm getting yet either. but it happens. So happy for you!

Good goodness and spice, I can really tell how excited you are.

I divided my 10g as well, though it was more of a divider from one labyrinth fish to another: my HM Jade and my Pearl Gourami SilverSand (who now lives outside in the quiet pond... lol, poor fish is so timid). I had white gravel on one side, black gravel on the other. If you ever decide to take out the divider, like for a sorority or something, the contrast between the two sides will look amazing. As long as you designed them to be opposite, of course. :D

I wish that was a bubble nest; actually the air pump causes all those bubbles. Or at least that's what I think.

Really? Awww... *letdown* I was so excited... But still, I would've flipped if I saw that in my fish's tank.
