He's the second betta I have had in my life. The first one was a red veil tail boy who I killed with too much food when I was 8 years old...

So about 2 months ago, I saw this pinkish lil fishie looking depressed in his little glass container in the petshop, I decided I am going to try and keep one properly this time, and rescued this little fella last month. He was pretty sick when I got him, and thanks to OFL, he's on the fast track to recovery. Here's a few pictures of him in his 4 gallon tank.

Please point out if there is still something that looks wrong with him...

What a beautiful fella! Other than being slightly underweight, he looks fine, but as you said he is still recovering.

He's still recovering, but he looks great so far. Keep up the great work! I'm sure he's a lot happier now.

thanks guys~ Surely Mr Pinky would appreciate the compliments as well :)
He does look happy too, he built a bubble nest a couple of days back, and patrolling every inch of his tank on top of flaring at my finger (when I dipped it in to see what the temperature is like, the thermometer is a bit off...) and biting it. I noticed that he is a bit skinny, been feeding him 3~4 pellets daily, and throws in a bloodworm every 2 or 3 days. Should I feed him more?

Aw he's cute! Congrats on the add of him! Betta tummies are only like the size of their eye so the amount of food you are feeding is fine. Actually maybe too much. 4 pellets over the span of a day is plenty. Frozen bloodworms contain the protein and nutrients he needs ^^
