Bloated?

i can't tell if my little boy is bloated or if i'm just paranoid. haha

i've never really noticed the size of his stomach before, but when i looked about four or five days ago, it looked a little plump. so, i fasted him for two days, but it didn't really change. i thought i was just paranoid, so i fed him two pellets twice that day.

then yesterday, i just gave him two pellets in the morning. now, i'm still wondering if he's bloated or not. i've been looking at his previous pictures from when i got him (a little more than one month) to last week, and his stomach looks like it's about the same size. i haven't given him anything yet today.

still, can't be too safe. here's some pics i took today:

No problem xD

Nope, that doesn't look like an abnormal belly to me at all. :)
In the first couple pics he actually looks rather skinny...though he also looks smaller/more delicately built in the last few, so thats probably just it. :)

haha yeah, he's seems to be smaller than other male bettas, he's probably only about 1.5 inches including his tail. do you think he can get any bigger?

He'll probably grow some over time, yeah.
Hes a smaller build though I bet, so he won't get as 'big' as say...a thicker-bodied VT. But he'll grow.
Fun Fact: Fish(most of not all at least as far as I know)lack the hormone to tell their bodies to actually stop growing. After a certian size/age their growth rate slows significantly, but they never really stop growing.
