Unhappy Help!! Emergency!

I came home today to find my Beta in the sink!! He had jumped out of his tank... now he's very listless and hanging by the surface. I put aqua salt and extra conditioner in his tank.(1gal) its been a few hours now and he's not looking good. what can I do?

Welcome to the forum......

How is he today......I would keep the water clean with some partial daily water changes-add salt 1tsp/gal, turn off the light.....let us know how he is.....

Good to hear....Bettas are pretty tough fish....I would keep up with the 50% daily water changes for a few days and use salt 1tsp/gal to help stimulate slime coat production....Once he is back to his old self be sure and make water change to get the salt out of the tank....you don't need or want long term salt...great for treatments......

Can you post a pic....

What a lovely fella....be sure to cove the tank or lower the water level to prevent him from jumping out again...but I am sure you have already done that.....these guys can jump pretty good and they have a good aim and can jump out of the smallest opening too....I had one jump through a dime size hole once......
