Genetic HMPK X HM outcome?

For my next spawn I was considering a cross between my HMPK and my HM girl photos below and I was wondering what you think the outcome would be I have heard crossing PK genes into a HM line helps build stronger rays? would this work in the long run? and if so what would the outcome of the fry be would they be mostly HM length or PK length fins?
sorry I cant get a nice flare from them hope these pics suffice

you will get hmpk but the tails will be short but the anal fins will be long. yes it will strengthen the rays.

pk is recessive so you will get HM (unless of course she is a pk geno)
but in F2 you will get HMPK popping back up

Your picture isn't too clear, but I'd say they're both rather symmetrical. So you should get both HM, PK, long finned PK or short finned HM. IMO because they're both symmetrical you shouldn't get HM with long anals.

Yes PK's may thicken HM fins/rays. But it's hard to get 8 end rays without one. Selectively breeding the "thick" finned, should eventually give you HM with firm fins.
