accessories question..less is better?

I only have a 1 gallon tank, i had few plants and a little home for him...but i think it was to much....
less is better??
im still new at bettas..i just want him to to be happy...
hes very active but still haven't seen a bubble nest

Not every betta "nests", so don't worry there. Just make sure your betta has hiding places and room to swim. If your tank looks crowded, try taking something out. If it looks bad, put it or something smaller back in.

Since the bowl is only a 1 gallon, yes, less is probably better. The smaller the tank/bowl, the more swimming room you need to allow. Just make sure he has at least one hiding spot.

Yes you should be able to find live plants at Petco. That's where I get mine. They have a big tank for live plants and also some plants in some of the fish tanks, so look around! Just ask someone if you need help :) A moss ball would probably be perfect for a 1gal, or maybe a small banana plant.

Theres not much that fits in small tanks, so I usually only put plants, live ones... Moss balls and maybe a sword plants... Live plants can always be manicured to fit of if they get to big put ina larger tank..

Plants like dwarf chain sword or pygmy Chain sword

Will cover the bottom of your tank and make it look stunning
