How has he been eating recently? Have you noticed anything strange about his physical appearance? Have you been keeping up on water changes? Need a whole lot more information to work off of and quick because from what I know and see(especially 2nd picture) he is in need of urgent care :o!

i got him on Friday, the lfs said they hadn't fed him yet so as soon as i got home i gave him a couple live brine shrimp and he went after then like crazy. Saturday i gave him a couple pellets and he seemed to like it but didn't show the same excitement. This afternoon when i got home i found him the way he was in the second picture.

Its hard to tell if there is any difference in his appearance cause his black but his fins don't seem to flare up even when he put in front of a mirror.

There is a sticky (3rd down) in the emergency forum that you can fill out and start a topic over there. May get more responders there. I noticed his belly was big in the first pic. Was that after he ate? Is there anything else you can see? Are his scales sticking up like a pinecone? How are his eyes? What chemicals are you using? How did you acclimate him?
