New betta. Bloated?

I just bought my third betta fish. He's a blue/green/red betta crowntail, my first crowntail! :D

The thing is he seems bloated. But hes swimming fine .

So I was thinking of fasting him for a few days?

If he is otherwise acting, eating, pooping normally and does not have any buoyancy problems....I wouldn't worry....you may need to cut back on his food....small frequent meals are better than 1-2 big meals and fast him one day a week.....if he start to have buoyancy problems, stops eating and pooping, lethargic, clamp fins, hiding......he may need a treatment......

Can you post the tank stats....copy and past the sticky at the top of the disease/emergency section and post it here....more info we have the better.....

Can you get a clearer pic? Just fasting him for 2-3 days could work too. Tell us if the issue continues.

Oops, OFL got to it first.

Well I literally just got him, so I haven't fed him anything yet.
Fins are nice and full.
Swimming around alot.
Everything seems good so far.

Ok, lol.

But if he's acting ok, fasting should help. If it doesn't, talk to OFL about Epsom Salt dosage.
