Aw! I love the doggies. Tisia, you're little girl is getting bigger. She's so cute. And Chai is gorgeous. Wylie is adorable. They're all gorgeous! Neige looks very dubious about having that pic taken. LOL!
Above is Molly, my Basset Hound. My husband and I moved into our first house 6 years ago and I bugged him about getting a dog for a long time. I had a Basset when I was a girl and I loved her. She was 3 months old when we brought her home. I was completely unprepared for her. She was a complete hellion. She punctured Steve's leg while biting him. She attacked our feet whenever we had shoes off. When I walked her she would run around me in circles and jump up and nip my arms. She chewed everything. Bitter apple took care of the object chewing and actually, the nipping of us as well. Walking problems were solved by my standing on her leash so she couldn't move and turning my back on her until she calmed down. She was a strange dog. All that craziness but if there was a loud noise she'd be up in my lap and clinging.
She's four years old now and she's completely reformed. She's my best friend. She allows us to take anything out of her mouth. She doesn't nip anymore, ever. She goes on long hikes with me and stays with me unless she smells something. She IS a Basset after all. She goes everywhere in the car and stays right in the passenger seat. She knows sit, come, give me your paw, lay down, roll over. She knows up, and down. You can put a cookie on her paw and she won't eat it until you say "Go ahead". We do the same routine with her dinner. She's completely potty trained. All training goes out the window when she sees people. She'll drag me across Petco to love someone and people always wanna love her back. I don't have it in me to stop her or them. :P
