Best mate for my girl?

I still have a lot of research to do before breeding, but if you could pick a mate for this girl, what would it be?

I'm eyeing a yellow dragon and a dark orange. Both are nice males, but I spent too much time researching betta care and everything else involved in breeding before realizing I don't know what color combos are good or bad. :D

i wouldnt breed her because she is a rosetail but if i had to it would be to a black and yellow halfmoon or a mg.

Thank you for this input. I've gone and read up on rosetails, and am not sure I will breed her after all. Even if it turned out alright, I'd be worried about the offspring of her babies.

Would breeding her to a plakat male help, or is it best to avoid breeding her altogether if I don't want to cause problems for the babies?

I want her as my companion, so it's okay if she's never a mom, but everyone I've shown her pic to loves her so much that they think she should make babies. I don't want to do that if it means they will be deformed/suffer.

well it won't cause all of the fry deformities but a lot of them will. i think you should breed her just be ready to do some heavy culling. i would breed her to a black and yellow super delta.

I think bachelor 1 or 3 would be nice. Not sure how bachelor 2 would turn out...
Here's a nice article I found. Apparently, with less extreme rosetails, deformities are not as common: http://nippyfish.net/bettas-201/rosetail-betta/

I wouldn't breed her. Some people like the look but I've heard from several different breeders who've bred RT into their lines who say they wish they hadn't. The deformities are vast and pretty much out weigh any benefit and once you have RT in your line it's basically impossible to breed out.... or at least extremely difficult.
