Well, i've been hearing alot about how betta fish are actually happier in bigger tanks and that its better for them, Plus i want a bit more space to decorate the inside of their tanks to give them more things to rub up against and hide in.

I just got my betta literally yesterday, and my friend had put him in a bowl. So today I got him a tank lol. So far his only decorations are a castle, which he likes to zoom around, some glow in the dark rocks and a little smilie face flower on top which he'll hide behind lol.

What i have for both tanks for both of my betta fish are a plant and a hollowed out tresure chest with holes that they can swim in and out of and hide in. Also if you wanna see my betta fish, i'll give you a link to my youtube channel so you can see them

I would get a 5 gallon, divide it, and put both fish in there. Add a filter and you suddenly made maintenance so much more easy.

I don't think i could add a filter though. My Betta fish grell doesn't like them. So should i put him on the side away from the filter?
