They're both really pretty! GreatBettas is such a great breeder. Of course they wouldn't do well in shows but still a really stunning out come. It's a shame that they're not always so pretty.

I saw a DTCT on aquabid once with more web reduction. I couldn't decide if I liked it or not.

I'm not a super huge fan of CT's. I do have one guy that I commandeered from Wal-mart. I love DT's but I'm really picky about them. I can't stand really short bodies or thick ones. I love their large dorsals though. This is the guy I have coming this week. He was right on the line of the short/thick body DT but his dorsal won me over. He's just a going to be to look pretty and is the last of my imports for a while. I've never gotten a long finned betta in the mail, I hope he doesn't eat them off.

Very pretty! I think he's a very nice DT. He's got a pretty standard body. Any longer than that would be nice, but is uncommon, much shorter and it would be considered "short bodied".

IME DTs don't usually eat their fins.. I think maybe they're not as flexible as longer bodied bettas

This guy is interesting. Could possibly turn into a new color with some selective breeding...
