Cool Oscar, the new family member.

Today I bought Oscar. The guy of the store said he is a dragon, which doesnt really matters to me. He is a pretty beautiful and curious man. He is already 8 months old and is in a 1 Gallon aquarium .

The Pictures which took me 20 minutes to take as he couldnt stop swimming of happiness :D

You found him at a petstore? He is a gorgeous boy! Do you have a heater for his tank?

Yea I bought him at a PetStore here in Brazil. He costed me 30 Reais =17 American Dollars.

No i dont have a heater for his tank, sadly. They are really expensive here. Rio is really hot so i dont think i need it.

I would just like to say, in my opinion a 1 gallon is to small unless it is temporary a 2.5 gallon filtered tank would be fine for him

I know 1 Gallon is really small. I promise I will try to buy me a 5 Gallon more. Do I really need the filters? I change the water 50% once a week.

In a one gallon unfiltered you need one 100 percent water change and one 50 percent water change a week and a filter is unneeded but it just makes it easier on the owner with less water changes
