I just wanted to say...

Okay, i know this isn't a big thing or whatever but when i look at my betta he looks purple and blue, but when i shine a flash light on him, * just to inspect and make sure he doesn't have any fish disease(worry wort right here)* i see that he is also, red and green. it's weird that i cant actually see those colors unless i have the flash light. i was just wondering if that's happened with anyone else...yea i know weird thing to say.

That's how Starscream is for me. Without flash his body is purple and his fins are red, but with flash his body is green.

lol okay, i thought my fishy was the only one. when you just look at him he's blue and purple, and i was surprised when i flashed my light on him. he has red, and green on him too.

my betta ruby was completely red .. at first when i bought him .. then one day i woke up and he was completely green .. like overnight .. i renamed him emerald .. =) .. i probably should have checked his colors in light ..

mr. bubbles is also color changing depending on what kind of light is show on him .. usually he's blue/black .. in low light he has some red tints .. and in bright lights he's green

wow such pretty fish. DO you guys think that betta's have routines? I noticed that my betta kinda follows me, like when i'm in one part of the room sometimes he'll follow me in his tank. he also favors the rightside of the tank.
