Hello everyone,
So, a few days ago I posted that I got a new betta and that he was refusing to eat. Well, up until today he was doing so. But, today I got him to eat some blood-worms I picked up from the store. At first he didn't care i threw them in the tank but once i started moving them around with the tip of a pencil he gained interest and now loves them. (he will wait in the area i threw in the worms for up to 10 minutes after i do so...i think he wants a few more

)
However, i tried tricking him and threw in a couple pellets with the worms hoping he would eat them. Unfortunately he is still ignoring those.
So...my question is...what do I do since he is being a picky eater? Continue to try and give him pellets on occasion or just replace blood worms for his everyday meal? (i heard this can be a problem with his health down the line...nutrients, etc.)
P.S. my gf's betta who lives in the bowl next door is eating anything i throw in.
