Size question?

I wanted to know what the max size difference between male and female you would spawn. I'm getting a young black dragon halfmoon and she is from 1-1.5 inches long. The male is close to three but definately over 2.5inches. Will this create a problem? It will be both of their first spawns.

It just depends. Generally you want the pair to be closer in size, with the female being a little smaller. But that's not to say it can't work at all.

what if i gave her a few weeks cupped with daily water changes, would she hopefully grow a fair bit with daily mosquito larvae and or brine shrimp?

If she's fully grown it's doubtful that she'll add any length. She'll just fill out.
