Need a good 10 gal

I need a good 10 gal tank, but I have limited surface area to put it. Are there any good tanks that have a small base?

As far as I know, all 10 gallons are a standard size: 12-3/4"L x 20-1/4"W x 10"H. I have never seen a 10 gallon in any other shape or size. You might look into this one, though:

It's only 9 gallons but it's more of a cylinder. However, if you're putting bettas in it, I wouldn't recommend it. Because of their heavy tails, it's not as easy for bettas to swim up and down so shallow and long tanks are better.

It's for a sorority... Would the females be ok in a taller tank?

Mmm, they might do all right but with territorial fish, it's best to have a big footprint. That way each girl can stake out her own territory. That said, the BiUbe might work for a sorority but I wouldn't try more than 4 girls in it. But for best (and nonbloody results), I would recommend 10g. I know, it stinks that 10g don't come in various sizes and shapes.
