Ugh what buggers

Okay so i went and got another female today
(I know i know, ANOTHER?)
Well anyway, i split the tank that one of my other females is in, and left for like 2 hours
My other female jumped my divider and is with the new one, there is no flaring or darting at each other
but what can i do to keep her from jumping back over again?

Well im pretty sure i fixed the problem
I got a closer look and the new females fins are a little bit tattered up, and the other one barley has a mark on here, but their seperated and hopefully can't get back together

I have had this problem with my divided tank. But mine was male + female! lol First get the one that jumped over, out of the other side back into her side. I would lower the water level a bit so she can't get over. Also, do you have a cover/top for your tank?

I did that as soon as i saw her

I already fixed the problem
I used some netting mesh stuff i had and taped it onto the lid so when i closed it, it would dangle right over the divider so there isnt JUmping space at all

Ya lol, and the little damange that was done to their fins is already looking way better

Ya thats always good. If they are pretty severe than I would QT with salt, but if she is improving, just make sure her water is clean and she will be all good!

Ya their fins werent that horrible at all to start with, it took me a while to notice
