Set up my Sorority!

Hey guys! I finally got my girls yesterday.
My local fish store only had males so I took a trip to petco where they had plenty of them. I got 4 crowntails and 4 veiltails. :)

So a total of 8 girls in 29 gallons. I have A LOT of plants in there even these cool floating vines! They were picking at each other for the most part yesterday but this morning they seem to be more calm.

One quick question tho...I left the tank light on over night and all day. Is that okay? or should I turn it off at night?

Fish need the night/day cycle like all other animals and people.. they need to go into their resting phase to be healthy. So turn it off each evening. I am picky and mine goes out at the same time each evening, leaving the room light on for a while to get them adjusted to the darkness, then it's complete lights off.
