Okay, so I was doing a water change for my betta, as usual. I had some trouble with the siphon, so I wasn't paying attention to Remi (my betta), who I put in his Petsmart cup with a few bloodworms (that I watched him eat). When I turned back to put him into the tank, there's this mysterious thing in there that wasn't in the first place. He doesn't seem any different, and I put him back in his tank. He wasn't eating it or anything... Is this some part of him? Please help. Thanks
Betta: Male Halfmoon I've had for exactly a week
Tank: 1.8 gallon
Food: Topfin pellets (2 pellets twice a day) and San Francisco Bay frozen bloodworms (twice a week)
Thing: Doesn't float, dark red and dark green (sort of the color of his pellets), slightly squishy
The thing is still in the cup with tank water right now, and I left it the way I saw it.
