Question Best Aquarium for $40 or less?

I'm looking for a 5 gallon aquarium or larger that comes with a hood. I'd really only like to spend $30 but I'm willing to go up to $40. I already have a filter so I don't need to buy an aquarium with one included.

I'm planning on heavily planting it and using my eco-complete substrate.

Any suggestions?

I got one of my 10 gals. from walmart for $30. It came with a hood, bulbs, a filter, and some other little things. They also had a 5 gal. that came with all that stuff for $25 I think? Not positive. It's an awesome deal. The filter is nice a quite too! :P

Comes with a filter but it's a great tank for bettas because it's long and shallow. I have one and I love it!
It's $40.99 right now but you can catch it on sale sometimes, when I got mine it was $39. If you can add some other stuff to your cart to get the free shipping, it's not a bad deal!

Does it take up a lot of space? It will go on my desk at school.

No its not too bad, at least I don't think so. I have mine on the top of a bookshelf. I'll try to get a picture of it with the bookshelf in it so you can get an idea of the size.

Hmm, not sure why it's showing up sideways. I rotated it on Photobucket? Sorry!

Right now I'm considering a Kritter Keeper the only thing I'm worried about is the lid is ventilated so I'm worried that the water will evaporate more quickly and it will lose heat.
