Male size?

I was planning on usig Aliquis to breed with, but saw him next to my females and realized he's at least 4x as big as they are, probably bigger. Am I correct in guessing I should invest in a smaller, younger male?

I used a huge male on a small female, the spawn went very smoothly woth no problems. Its only a problem if its the other way around, huge female, little male, then he wont be able to wrap her

Ok thanks. I was worried he might squish her or something!

If a female is too large then the male will have troublw wrapping her.

I think I will give it a go. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. I will watch and separate them if anything goes wrong

If your male is 4x bigger than the females....... how old are the females?

Keep an eye on the breeding pair because your female might not want to breed.
