Cleaning a tank after disease

So after a bout with internal parasites/ bacteria infection I cleaned the tank took all fish out for a week then replaced a healthy one and he isnt showing symptoms of the internal problem however the one I added got ich... now my plan is to remove him treat him separately and leave the tank for another week after cleaning it changing the filter... sense ich can live in the water for only 3 days would 5 days suffice before adding any new fish? also should I clean the plants (java moss) in the tank I heard you can do a dip for this if so has anyone here done one?

If no fish are present, turn the temp up to 86 degree to speed up the life cycle and eventually die

Thanks sowman and do you think it will have no ill effects on the java moss (the only thing besides snails living in there) because i dont really care about the pond snails

I'm not sure about the moss ball? You may want to look up the max temp they can handle
