Was at Petbarn with my bf yesterday to pick up ornaments to keep tail biting Buddy entertained, and while I walked past the bettas, I saw this CT with pretty bad ammonia burns, he was hardly moving (we thought he was dead), and this other red VT that was wearing a fungus fur coat. The CT sprang to life after a while of me staring at him, and then sank to the bottom of his glass container again after a few secs. The poor VT was just lying on the bottom and hardly moving. I wanted to rescue them but I had no room... today I went back to pick up stress coat and the bf found the crime scene of the VT who has gone to fishie heaven, and the CT still fighting on... I bought him home, always wanted a CT, and if he doesn't make it, at least he didn't have to die like his VT friend at the petshop.

Here he is, ladies and gentlemen, I present, Prince Diamond...
Excuse the mess, I took it while I was pre-mixing his next batch of treatment water...

Update: Prince survived the night! His gills aren't flared out anymore, but he likes to hang still in the top middle of the tank, ate 2 pellets just now. I think he's going to live! Thanks everyone for the well wishes!

Now I am waiting for my mum to realise that I got another fish, and then give me an earful when she does. Hahaha =_____=

aww! I'm happy for the lil guy! ugh the other day I was so upset I was looking for a male betta (ended up getting my male Leonitis) and I got so upset because I found 2 ROTTING bettas along with one who had BAD sbd . It made me wanna take them all home !
