Can you identify my girls?

My gf picked these two little girls up. Garnet, and Flirt. I was told Garnet is likely a VT, and no answers for Flirt. Petsmart didn't mark the species of female. ugh. I'm just curious. Thanks! Garnet's the white one with red, and Flirts the colorful one. Garnet is my fav, btw. she's just my baby girl. <3 her with all I got.

Garnet is definitely a veil-tail!!! I love her, she's adorable!!!! Flirt also looks like a veil-tail to me, but she seems to be more of a round-tail. They're both beautiful fishies, whatever they are =D

Woot!

Thank you all so much for answering my question. I kinda figured Garnet was a VT. Flirt I was thinking delta, maybe. but Idk. You can't really tell by looking at Garnet's pic, but she's itty itty bitty. And quite an aggressive feeder! She's my whole world. such a pretty fish. Lastnight, there heater got WAY too hot, so I took it back. I think Flirt got temp swim bladder disease from the shock. cleaned her water, and put her in her own new home, and she's doing much better today, but she's got abit more to go. poor baby girls

first one looks spadish...but i would say VT definitely the 2nd one...and the first im sceptical mainly because the tail isn't drouped...but then again it doesn't necessarily has to droop..possible the first can be VT too...did u buy both from the same tank ?

usually for petstores the females will be crown tail or veil tail so i would have to go with veil tail

Yeah, it does make sense they'd be either VT or CT. I'm actually noticing something that is starting to happen in pet stores. Veiltails are slowly going out the window. is anyone else noticing that, or is it just me?
