Please help

I own several betta fish and have never seen this before. My male crwontail has a huge stomach that looks like he is going to explode. Underneath the stomach looks like the color of blood under the skin. The fish does not act sick and eats fine. I am worried on what could be wrong.

Woah, that sounds pretty scary! Can you start a thread for this in our diseases and emergencies section, and fill out the sticky thread at the top that has a list of questions in it?? And can you also take a few pictures for us so we can help you figure this out???

I will have to take a picture of him tomorrow as he is at work. I have never seen anything like this before. I am new to this site as I just found it. I will try to do a thread. Thanks for answering.
