right temperature?

i just got an elite submersible 25W heater for my precious fish.....even im still using a 1 gallon i just stick it right in since it is 50 degrees today lol i just wanna know what's the best temperature for my fishie...i know 72-82 are the range...but i just want some opinions from you guys even though all fish are different in some way....right now i have it at around 80.....

72 is actually on the cold side. Especially when you consider your house is probably around 70. 78-80 is considered ideal. I keep mine at 82. So keep it right were you are and you are golden!
