Multi color DBT

I am having to rehome hope, my multi DBT I cannot give him the care he deserves I am looking for someone in the austin, TX area to take him, I don't want to risk the death of hope, Due to shipping, pm me if interested. He will change colors depending on the light. And I don't want money he will be free At no charge


Right now I have had him about a month the 1 gallon tank he is in was supposed to be temporary but my dad bought incompatible fish for the ten gallon hope was going to go in so I am trying to find him a bigger
home for him

Are these two pics the same fish?

Yup they are the same fish it can change depending on the light it is soo cool but that is the only time he ever turned all red

It looks like the second picture is backlit, so it distorted his colors quite a bit. But you can see the same little chunk is missing out of his tail in both pics. He is absolutely amazing, I would take him in a heartbeat if I didn't live in Indiana =( I hope he finds a good home!!!!

That is amazing :0 I've seen fish change color but never that drastically.

I'm sorry that you have to give him up but I admire you for trying to find him a good home.

Thanks I hope he finds a good home, and I love him soooo much but he deserves better than a 1 gallon bowl to live in his whole life

Is it because you can't get a bigger tank with a heater to keep him in?

Maybe you can talk your dad into getting a 2.5 gallon critter keeper? I have 3 or 4 of them that I use for hospital tanks if my 10 gallon is unavailable.

You can keep a 25w heater in there and a small filter. And they're really inexpensive.

I probably can't I have no more room for any more tanks but I do have a sponge filter coming in the mail do you think that it would work if my dad says yes and would a 7.5 watt heater be okay
