Fish gettin stuck...

After I made the battle and let the filter on I found my betta stuck at the sucker. Buying a sponge is the only way to stop him doing that? The filter has a protection but I think its too strong.

As I had a spare plant I just put it around the sucker so he wont go there. Its perfect now :D
