If you love crowntailes and butterflys read this secret petland has now!!!!!!

Hey you know how pet land has plain normal everyday bettas, well thats not true. The secret is, they keep the hard to find ones that you go to breeders to find in the back. Ask them if they have any ready to sell in the back but before you mention that though, tell them that you are a breeder and/or enthusiast and you keep yours in at least a 5 gallon tank, then ask about the pretty exotic ones I found that out when I took a few off a girl that had 50 so don't settle for the same ASK.

Sounds about right when you think about it. Why sell the pretty breeder bettas to 5 yr olds and leave the average bettas for the breeders. Sadly mine has all regular ol plain veiltails, but that's ok, they need love too.

i don't think all petlands do this, sadly, the petland by me told me i was going to kill my betta because he was in a 3.5g with a filter despite the fact that the filter was baffled.... they believed bettas NEED to be in small tanks

Does Petco and PetSmart do that? I don't have a PetLand.

WTF? Wow... That is dumb.

That's cool, but I do not have a pet land where I live but I do have a petco and petsmart but they have all of their bettas on display. but honestly petco seems to have the prettier ones that are colorful.. :)

Huh... I don't think many PetLands do that though, since they need to make a profit, regardless of who the betta goes to. I have a Petland 3 hrs away and I doubt they would have nicer ones in the back. I think Petland is Canadian too, so that would be why others dont have one.
