Exclamation protuding eyes?

i dont know but it seems that one of my bettas have protuding swollen eyes.. im not really sure but they dont look flat? or they supposed to be flat? they slightly bulge out of the socket (clear part..?)

I'm not sure. . It could be Popeye, try Googling that and compare between your Betta and the pictures. If it is indeed Popeye you should make a thread in the Diseases sub-forum.

hmm i think it might be a false alarm. the ones on google are extremely over exagerated so i cant really tell. i just know thier not flat like one of my other bettas

Haha maybe he was just born with it? I don't know any other diseases that has a weird eye for a symptom, sorry!

SwayLocks could you post some pictures if possible?

You can verify differences in protrusion using Victor (link below, he has pictures on Pg1 and Pg3)

um i dont think mine are that big. they just seem to protude the socket. (i ll update pics promptly)

They normally protrude out of the socket a little bit. The clear part as you stated. You don't usually see it unless viewing from above or at the right moment when they turn. So some protrusion is fine! (as example by my avatar)
