The male you picked looks fine for wanting to match her color.

As for what others said about breedingto a HM or PK, vailtail is dominate toPK and you'd just getall VT's anyway unless your girl carried PK genes. Breeding toa HMyou you don't get hm babies, but you might get a delta or two mixed in with vt's i assume.

Whichever you choose, make sure you have a sponge filter. xD I finally found a sponge to use :) yay!!! Trust me, you might want the filter cycled :p this definitely helps!!

i can't spawn cause i running food for fish, and i got a new kitten to take care, he is a stray. am waiting until my B-day cause i need to buy a 10 because the other 10 was my big bro's

Betta lover, I don't breed for money :) I do it, because it's my favorite fish, I like to learn about them. And whenever someone spawns their betta, successful or not it's nice to hear about it :)

Well sadly I had to give all of my bettas away but to good homes of course :).Im definatly going to try to get a new pair as soon as I can

This also won't matter because VT is a dominant gene will remove the potential for these tail types.

Depending where you live, VT is in demand or not. Many people like bettas as a pet rather than a hobby and a pet :p

Here, VT's fly off the shelf at 6 dollars each, 4 dollars females, and any possible HM's we get (once in four years... a record of finding HM!!!) disappear in a day or two at 20 dollars each.
