I would say 5 tablespoons but you should ask around for more experienced people. :)

Not sure. Sorry.
My betta has fin rot and he is in a 0.5 gallon tank so I'm putting 1/2 teaspoon every time I change the water and I'm changing the water everyday. Sorry for the bad grammar. :)

I would say 1tsp/gal but I'm not sure, treating a 10 gal would be hard. . You can throw him in a smaller home for now since it'll be easier on your part. You can do extra water changes to help him getting infected, also adding Stress Coat will help his fin regrowth.

Normally it's 1tsp per gallon with 100% daily water changes for 10 days, as to not over dose on the AQ salt. But if it's not rotting, then add in stress coat to help regrowth of the fins faster. Do about 25% with like temp water changes every 2 days for 1-2 weeks, 1 100% change per week to keep the water clean. Make sure to add in full dose of the stress coat+ &/or water conditioner each time.
The salt can be good to ward off infections, but not necessary. And if she wants to keep it in the 10 gal, best to just go with the stress coat and those water changes.
