Bettas and bubbles

After seeing some posts of their bettas liking bubbles I decided to put bubbles into Jake's tank. He seems to absolutely love them. He hangs in the bubble stream gulping up the air then stops gulping, flares then kinda floats up to the surface backwards. Is this an OK behavior, I have unplugged the bubbler to be safe.
