Sorority question?

I have a 20gallon long tank and i've rolled around a few ideas(grow out tank, divided home for my boys, planted tank, community..) but i think i've settled on wanting to make it a sorority.

It is currently home to one lone female, she far to old and aggressive to add more in with her but i plan to move her to a 2.5 gallon as soon as i get everthing figured out for the sorrority.

I was thinking i want 10 girls in there? Is this going to be an ok number? I plan to get them from various breeders when i'm ready for them, depending on whats available when i need them, at around the same time and of about the same age and freshly separated from their spawn mates so they're already semi-used to other fish.

I will. I want to cycle my 20long as doing 5gallon changes every day or who kinda sucks xD As well as get some plants established and growing(right now it has a chain of silk flowers and leaves wrapped about the bottom full of nice hiding spots and a couple terracotta pot caves, but i want some java moss and floating plants, maybe even a marimo ball. xD
