My fry tank doesn't have a filter in it to cycle it.

And yeah, i would say white cloudy? I'm thinking maybe a mass explosion of Saprolegnia? I don't have any malachite green or fungus treatment or anything.

I've done another 2 gallon water change and it starting to kinda clear up.


As for the food thing they eat crushed pellets so i just sprinkle it infront of their noses when they come to the surface.

White cloudy is usually related to a bacteria bloom I would check your parameters make sure they are all in line, you dont really need a filter if you have lots of media for bacteria to colonize on.

My spawning tank is pretty bare(for easy cleaning), just one fake plant in there right now for the shyest fry to hide in.

You might want to add some old filter media from a tank to make sure it isnt cycling also check the ammonia levels and nitrite levels.
