Talking A great new "find" for the tank!!!

So, I added upside down silk flowers to each of my bettas' tanks and they are a HUGE hit! All my fishies love the flowers... they rest on top of them, hide under them, etc. Who knew that they would be such a big hit! I highly recommend an upside down silk flower (with no wires in them of course :)

That is genius! I was thinking about those floating flowers but I was just thinking, you couldn't even see them unless you lifted the lid (in my tank anyways). This way you could just a little flash of colour when the ends of the petals hang down below the rim of the tank.

The flowers are fake... most of the others are live :)

I love it!!! lol.

I noticed the tank I got pre-used came with dollarstore plastic plants. so... here is my question. Obviously, the plastic ones are safe... so, so are the "silk" or fabric ones? those would be nice to use...especially for bettas :)

Just make sure there is absolutely NO metal in the stems. If there is, those are not safe.

Also it's suggested to soak the plants for a bit, to make sure they don't leech dyes when they're wet for too long (: The flowers look great! I've been tempted to do the same in some of my tanks!
