Does anyone else have one of these?

A Betta Leaf Hammock.

Both of the boys have one, they love them and use them all the time!

I highly recommend one for anyone who owns a Betta. They rock!

Yes, just be careful about the metal wire in the middle as it can rust.

Metal wire? I never knew there was one....

It isn't exposed anywhere.

It's in the spine of the leaf.

After a while it can wear away. Keep your eye on it. They're cheap enough to replace in any case.. Or, as someone here has done, get Indian Almond Leaves and stick them in the suction cup thing for a safer alternative. I bought one of these Zoo Med ones last night just so Lakitu has something to rest on while we wait for all his new goodies in the mail. I agree the idea is a good one though!

My betta treated it as his feeding station, not as a resting spot. Not sure if it's because he was a king betta. Maybe he thought it was too small - he preferred to sleep on top the filter and ignored all the other surfaces I made for him, including the betta log. He only went into the log if the current was too strong.

He let me know he was hungry by tapping the tank with the thermometer to get my attention, them swimming to the leaf hammock.
